Royal Challengers Bangalore

 

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is a franchise cricket team that represents the city of Bangalore (now known as Bengaluru) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was founded in 2008 and is owned by United Spirits, a subsidiary of the British drinks company Diageo.


RCB has been a popular team in the IPL, with a strong fan base, and has consistently featured some of the biggest names in world cricket. The team has yet to win an IPL title, but has reached the final on three occasions (in 2009, 2011, and 2016).

Some of the prominent players who have represented RCB over the years include Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Shane Watson, Yuzvendra Chahal, and many others. RCB plays its home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
